My Top Five Gokai Change Nitpicks
While the changing gimmick (in Gokaiger) is something cool and unique, there have been little things that rubbed me the wrong way over the course of the series. These are my top five.

1. No Battle Cossack Genderswap
If Luka’s other genderswaps get skirts, then why doesn’t Battle Cossack get a leotard? And Miss America’s Gokaiger suit isn’t even an actual leotard, so the fact that Yellow has a stuntman should be null.

2. The Gouraiger keys should be switched around
How the heck is Pink closest to Blue and Green closest to Red? It just doesn’t make any sense!

3. Joe should not be using female Blue Rangers
Female blues just look awkward as heck whenever they lose their skirt. Maybe it’s the fact that, all but one, either have a dolphin on their chest or a mermaid on their helmet, and society has led me to believe that those are very feminine things. I don’t know.

4. The Gokai girls’ double team (in episode 41)
The fact that everyone else had a theme duo, but Yellow gets Goseiger was a bit out of left field. It would have been a bit better if Pink & Yellow did Twin Cam Angel, while Pink & Blue changed to Wolzard Fire & Magi Mother.

5. All of the genderswapped Yellow Rangers (in episode 23)
My other nitpicks for this episode aside, the fact that the “girl power” episode featured genderswapped suits kinda bugs me. I was expecting the eventual female-centric episode to pull out stuff like Twin Cam Angel and Go-on Princess. Not have family-themed changes, leading to Luka using two suits (out of three changes) that were originally male.
